The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
